ABOUT US
The Virginia and North Carolina Chapter of AABE was established in the late 1980’s, comprising primarily of two companies: Carolina Power & Light (CPL) and Virginia Power (currently Dominion Energy). The combined Chapter dissolved during the early 2000’s.

With the vision to restart the Virginia Chapter, several Dominion Energy colleagues developed a team of industry professionals and collectively started planning for the resurgence of AABE in Virginia. The Virginia Chapter was officially re-established on September 23, 2011 and is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
