Mix was selected   as Chief Nurse Officer in October 2019. As Chief Nurse Officer, RADM   Mix advises the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services   Office and the Office of the Surgeon General and the on the recruitment,   assignment, deployment, retention, and career development of nurse   professionals and is responsible for providing leadership to Commissioned   Corps and civilian nurses.

Guest Speaker: Rear Admiral Aisha K. Mix

AABE Virginia is excited to host Rear   Admiral Aisha K. Mix, as she addresses the dynamic and (in some cases)   disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on most organizations, companies, and   communities of color.

Additionally, Mix will touch on social   implications as it relates to mental health and well-being of individuals,   especially as companies are growingly migrating portions of their workforce   to a flexible alternative schedule or remote working for an extended period.

With much discussion around the corona   virus vaccine, Mix will also educate us on the FACT for administration and   availability, while also dispelling MYTHS.
